(CHALLIS, ID) – Isolated thunderstorms wreaked havoc in parts of eastern Idaho Tuesday evening.  The storms caused heavy rainfall in parts of Custer, Lemhi, and Clark counties. At the Living Waters Ranch north of Challis, flash floods overran the driveway and damaged buildings. Authorities say that over a foot of mud and water was seen pouring over Garden Creek Road, threatening to knock down power poles in the area. They advise residents living in locations prone to flash floods to always have an emergency evacuation plan for moving to higher ground.
