(POCATELLO, ID) – Members of the Idaho Democratic Party met in Pocatello for a caucus on Saturday. Organizers say that in spite of losing three seats in the GOP-dominated state legislature last year, they’re committed to finding a niche among regional voters. They say they’re distancing the party from its national platform to reach more Gem State residents, focusing on local issues like jobs and the economy instead.
