Lakers Agree to One-Year Contract with Kaman

(NEW YORK) -- The Los Angeles Lakers may have missed out on Dwight Howard, but that didn't stop them from getting a big man.
Center Chris Kaman agreed to join the Lakers Monday, just days after Howard decided to join the Houston Rockets.
According to the Los Angeles Times it's a one-year deal.
This means the 7-foot Kaman will return to Los Angeles, where he played the first eight seasons of his career with the Clippers.
"I am going back to LA and it's to play for the Lakers!" Kaman tweeted. "I am excited about this move and can't wait to play."
The 31-year-old Kaman has averaged 11.8 points, eight rebounds and 1.4 blocks a game throughout 10 NBA seasons.
