Man Dies After Hitting Pronghorn With Motorcycle

(SALMON, ID) – A Minnesota man was killed Friday afternoon when he hit a pronghorn antelope with his motorcycle in Lemhi County. 53-year-old Lawrence Steffens was traveling along U.S. Highway 93 near Ellis and struck the antelope as he was rounding a curve in the road. Steffens, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
