(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  Idaho Falls Police have identified the man pulled from the Snake River early Friday morning.    Officials say 27-year old Lloyd N. Westbrook II drowned when attempted to swim to Keefer’s Island in the Snake River around 9:30 Thursday evening.   He apparently entered the river with two other individuals.   Those two made it out of the river, but Westbrook was seen going under the water and not re-surfacing.  Crews from both the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue and the Idaho Falls Police and Fire Departments scoured the river for over an hour trying to find Westbrook.   They stopped actively looking around 11pm.   His body was finally found and recovered around 1:10 am Friday.    The commotion brought on by the search process delayed the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration Fireworks for close to an hour.
