Mandela Remains Hospitalized in Critical Condition

ABC News(PRETORIA, South Africa) — Former South African President Nelson Mandela remains in the hospital more than three weeks after being admitted for a recurring lung infection.
His condition continues to be critical but stable, according to a statement Monday from South African President Jacob Zuma’s office.
On Monday, Mandela’s granddaughters Zaziwe Dlamini Manaway and Swati Dlamini visited the 94-year-old civil rights leader at the Mediclinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria, where Mandela has been since June 8.
