Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – An area man was airlifted to EIRMC following a two-vehicle crash along U.S. Highway 91 Saturday.  Idaho State Police say 47-year-old Boyd Gettman of Pocatello allegedly ran a stop sign at the Hansen Lane intersection and crashed into a motorcycle driven by 60-year-old Kenneth Sellers of Blackfoot. Crews closed the highway for at least two hours until the scene was secured and cleared. Sellers was hospitalized and Gettman was uninjured. An investigation is ongoing.
