(POCATELLO, ID) – Idaho Fish and Game officials are warning Pocatello residents about a mountain lion that’s been spotted lingering around the south end of town. Witnesses saw the animal preying on a fawn mule deer earlier this week, and at least one other deer carcass near Mink Creek and Fort Hall Mine roads. They advise citizens living in areas with frequent wildlife encounters to keep an eye on their pets and to store cat and dog food inside to avoid attracting any unwanted predators
