(POCATELLO, ID) – No charges will be filed against police officers who killed a murder suspect during a standoff north of Pocatello earlier this year.  Investigators say Boede Paul admitted to killing his girlfriend, Leah Schultz, and burying her in a construction site on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. During the standoff January 16, Paul reportedly fired at officers, nine of whom returned fire with lethal results. An independent inquiry by Twin Falls County prosecutors determined that officers followed established protocol.
