(POCATELLO, ID) – A former correctional officer accused of having sex with an inmate at the Pocatello Women’s Prison will serve eight years on probation. Kim Rogers had worked at the prison for nearly ten years prior to the incident in March of 2012. An investigation revealed that the interaction was consensual, and that Rogers did not pose a major threat to the community. During his sentencing Tuesday, Rogers apologized to his victim and to his coworkers.
