Panama Discovers Secret Missiles on North Korean Ship

File photo. iStockphoto/Thinkstock(PANAMA CITY) — Customs officers in Panama came across an unusual cargo hold when a North Korean ship tried to pass through: missile parts.
The ship was traveling from Cuba to North Korea but was stopped in the Panama Canal, AFP reports. Authorities found sophisticated missile equipment hidden below large containers of sugar.
Inspectors say the captain tried to take his life while the ship was being searched.
