(NEW YORK) — When Ashton Kutcher was photographed shooting the Steve Jobs biopic Jobs last year, fans buzzed that the physical resemblance between the two was uncanny. This movie poster had a similar effect.
For Kutcher, 35, being tapped to play the late Apple co-founder was an overwhelming experience.
“Steve is fresh in our minds, he’s a person who we have a daily reminder of in our hands,” he said earlier this year, according to Mashable. “It’s not like playing Lincoln. We don’t have a whole lot of video footage of Lincoln.”
To prepare, he listened to clips of Jobs speaking and repeated lines whenever he could. He also studied up on Jobs’ life philosophies, many of which stuck with him.
“Playing this character has changed my life,” he said, “and changed me as a person.”
