(POCATELLO, ID) – Portneuf Medical Center is launching a program to provide screenings for lung cancer. This week federal health officials advised all smokers to get checked for cancer. The hospital is providing subsidized CT scans at around $200. Those recommended to undergo the procedure are those who have smoked for 30 years or more, are over 55, and who smoke two or more packs a day. The program is slated to start sometime next month
