Power Knocked Out in Soda Springs

(SODA SPRINGS, ID) – Residents in Soda Springs were without power Monday morning. Rocky Mountain Power officials say a lightning strike knocked out a transmission line, cutting off electricity to much of Caribou County. Power was restored shortly before 10 a.m. Emergency officials are also urging citizens to avoid calling 911 if the power is out, in order to keep the lines open, and to contact Rocky Mountain Power instead.
