Pro Football Hall of Fame Removes Picture of Aaron Hernandez
(NEW YORK) -- In wake of the current murder investigation, the Pro Football Hall of Fame removed a picture of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Sunday.
The Hall of Fame has received complaints about the photograph and confirmed the news to the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Sunday.
"In the spirit of good taste we thought we'd take it down," Joe Horrigan, vice president of communication and exhibits for the hall, told the newspaper.
The photo was from 2010 when the Patriots played the Green Bay Packers. Hernandez is seen high-stepping into the end zone.
The photo was put up on display after a panel of photography experts voted Hernandez' the best NFL photograph of 2010.
