Report: Brian Wilson Signs with L.A. Dodgers
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — The Los Angeles Dodgers signed former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson to a free agent contract, according to The Los Angeles Times. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 31-Wilson hasn’t appeared on a big league mound since April 2012 when he underwent reconstructive elbow surgery.
Wilson was non-tendered by San Francisco during the off-season after making $8.5 million last year.
The three-time All-Star was an instrumental part of the Giants winning the World Series in 2010, leading the league that year with 48 saves.
