(RIGBY, ID) – A Rigby man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a shooting death earlier this month.  Emmanuel Granados is accused of killing 22-year-old Fermin Lemus of Madison County during a quinceanera on July 14. Granados was later arrested in southern Utah while attempting to flee the country. Granados could face the death penalty, though prosecutors will likely seek life without parole instead. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for some time in September.
