Royal Couple Lookalikes Cause Stir at Hospital
Published at(LONDON) — Reporters camped outside a London hospital waiting for news of the royal baby’s birth thought Friday was the big day.
The pack of journalists was sent running after what they believed was a visit from parents-to-be Prince William and Kate Middleton. However, the two turned out to be lookalikes posing as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, paid for by the tabloid newspaper The Sun.
With Middleton about to give birth at any moment, members of the media have been camped outside St. Mary’s Hospital in London for weeks for what is now known as the “Great Kate Wait.”
