pet scams

(BLACKFOOT) – A scam targeting would-be pet owners is hitting eastern Idaho. Officials with the Better Business Bureau tell Local News 8 that online classified ads offering pets at low prices are often too good to be true. Victims often report being asked to pay through wire transfers at unreasonably low prices and then being harassed or ignored without getting the animal they asked for. Anyone who may have fallen victim to the scam should contact the Better Business Bureau at 523-9754.
