A rep for the Maroon 5 frontman announced Tuesday that Adam had gotten engaged to 24-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, just months after they reportedly had split. So, what changed? According to Us Weekly, Adam had an epiphany after hanging out with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Nina Agdal in Mexico in June.
The magazine’s source says the “Nina thing was not that serious,” and adds, “After Adam broke up with Behati, he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He realized he really loved her and wanted to be with her.”
Another insider declares, “Adam kept talking to Behati, and was flooded with emotion when they saw each other again. He knew he wanted to propose.”
Adam, 34, and his Namibia-born fiancée celebrated their engagement Tuesday by eating hamburgers and drinking champagne at a New York City restaurant, according to Us Weekly.
Before he dated Prinsloo, Adam was involved with another Victoria’s Secret model, Anne Vyalitsyna, a.k.a. Anne V.
