(MIAMI) — Tropical Storm Chantal is taking aim at the Caribbean with its 50-mile-an-hour winds.
The third-named storm of the season was expected to make landfall Tuesday in Barbados, Saint Lucia and Puerto Rico, bringing up to six inches of rain and flooding.
Forecasters say Chantal could turn into a hurricane before reaching Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
It’s expected to weaken before getting to the Bahamas.
