(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims tumbled during the second week of July, falling to 334,000, the Labor Department reported on Thursday.
For the week ending July 13, the number of people filing for benefits dropped by 24,000. The previous week, claims stood at 358,000.
The four-week average also went down, decreasing by 5,250 to 346,000.
