(WINNIPEG, Manitoba) — The Winnipeg Jets signed defenseman Zach Redmond to a one year, two-way contract worth $715,000, the club announced on Saturday.
In eight games with the Jets last season, the 24-year-old Redmond had one goal and three assists for four points. He missed most of the year, after suffering a cut on his upper right thigh from teammate Antti Miettinen’s skate during practice.
In 113 career AHL games with Chicago and St. John’s he has 16 goals and 34 assists for 50 points.
