(VICTOR, ID) – A local sheep ranching company lost 176 animals in a massive wolf attack south of Victor over the weekend. Officials say at least two wolves attacked a herd on Fogg Hill. A few of the animals were bitten, but the rest suffocated when they were forced into piles by the wolves. Fish and Game officials say there have been problems with wolves in that area since June. Siddoway Sheep Company, which owned the animals, has lost more than 250 livestock to wolves, bears, and livestock this summer alone.
