(LOS ANGELES) — The Los Angeles Clippers are looking to add more depth to their bench.
According to ESPN, the team is close to a deal with free agent forward Antwan Jamison. The 37-year-old Jamison spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 76 regular-season games.
Jamison played with torn wrist ligaments for most of last season, but had offseason surgery and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Jamison has averaged 18.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in 15 seasons with the Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, and Cleveland Cavaliers. He was named to the All-Rookie second team in 1999 and was the 2004 Sixth Man of the Year with the Mavericks.
