ESPN: Safety Reshad Jones Signs Four-Year Extension with Dolphins
Published at(NEW YORK) — The Miami Dolphins signed safety Reshad Jones to a four-year, $30 million extension, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The deal locks up the 25-year-old Jones through the 2017.
“Just want 2 take this time 2 thank God for this blessing!!,” Jones tweeted. “And thank the dolphins Organization, family,friends, and fans that be believed!”
Jones is entering his fourth season out of Georgia. For his career, he has 130 tackles, six interceptions, four sacks and two forced fumbles. Last season, Jones started all 16 games for the Dolphins accumulating 74 tackles, nine passes defended, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and a sack.
