Fire Delays Traffic in Yellowstone

(YELLOWSTONE, NP) – Officials in Yellowstone National Park closed a section of the Grand Loop Road Monday because of a wildfire. The closure consisted of about 8 miles of roadway between Fishing Bridge and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. About 150 firefighters have been stationed in the area to keep the fire away from any nearby structures. The blaze was sparked by lightning last week and has burned about seven square miles.
