The Beaver Creek wildfire burns deep in the hills near Sun Valley Idaho. With more than 100,000 acres scorched, fire crews are attacking the flames and smoke from above and below. Firefighters are working against hot, dry weather and wind gusts turning the blaze into tornado-like spirals.

Among the thousands of firefighters in Idaho battling the Beaver Creek wildfire are private fire companies sent by insurance companies. The Sun Valley area has some of the most expensive real estate in the country.

Farmers Insurance is one of the companies who sent private firefighter to protect homes.
