Former Employees Suing Seasons of Hope

(POCATELLO, ID) – 19 former Seasons of Hope employees are suing the mental health care provider for owed wages and benefits. The  clinic was forced to close earlier this year because of alleged Medicaid fraud. The group is seeking about $33,000 in pay and another $2,400 in unused vacation benefits. Several employees say they stayed on after the closure with the promise that they’d eventually be compensated. The clinic has since won a counter-suit with its Medicaid status restored, though that ruling is currently under state appeal.
