Gas Prices Fall Slightly Again
Published at(WASHINGTON) — Drivers across the U.S. are paying a little bit less for gasoline, according to new government figures. The price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.63, down 1.4 cents from a week ago. The price is also down just over a penny compared to a year ago, according to the Department of Energy.
Prices have been dropping around much of the country. In California, prices are below $4 a gallon for the first time in weeks. The average price in that state has fallen to $3.95 in the past week.
Still, the West Coast has the most expensive gas at $3.89.
The Gulf Coast still has the cheapest gas at $3.47.
