Brown limped off the field to the locker room before the end of the first half and was evaluated.

“Spirits are high, I’m positive,” Brown said after the game. “And I’m looking forward to coming back this season. It’s not as serious as it was last year.”

“It is not that bad of a break. Just a little tiny, a little crack in it. We still got to do more tests on it. Last time when I broke it we knew immediately what the problem was,” he continued.

The Giants have to trim the roster down to 53 by Saturday, but Brown wants to stay on the active roster and believes he can be back in eight weeks.

“I have been here before and I know. They would let me know if it was [more] serious than it was, but it is not,” Brown said.
