Goldman Sachs Banker Accused of Hamptons Rape

Jason Lee has been arrested and charged with first-degree rape by the East Hampton Town Police, Aug. 20, 2013. (East Hampton Town Police)(NEW YORK) — New York police are investigating an accusation of sexual assault allegedly committed by a Goldman Sachs banker vacationing in the Hamptons.
Jason Lee, 37, was arrested Wednesday and charged with rape for allegedly forcing himself on a young woman at his rental home.
East Hampton police said they arrested Lee at the home after responding to a disturbance there.
When they arrived, police were told a 20-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted inside Lee’s vacation home where “several people had gathered,” according to a statement from the police department.
Lee was charged with first-degree rape and was arraigned in East Hampton court before posting bail and being released.
It’s unclear where he lives.
Lee’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., did not immediately return messages from ABC News on Friday.
Homes on Clover Lead Lane, where Lee was renting, cost anywhere from $20,000 to $50,000 per month to rent in the summer.
