(POCATELLO, ID) – Gun and ammunition sales in eastern Idaho haven’t slowed down much over the past year. Mike Orth of Mad Mike’s Pawn Shop in Pocatello tells KPVI that because of gun control measures being enacted on other states, more Idahoans are buying firearms now than ever before. Orth believes people buying guns out of fear of the unknown has led to ammunition shortages, which remain in effect for most retailers. Businesses such as Walmart and Cal Ranch have placed limits on the number of boxes shoppers can buy in an effort to keep more products on their shelves.
