(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – It’s beginning to look a lot like a seller’s market for homes in the area, but in Idaho Falls, home prices are still dropping. Federal housing officials say home prices in the Gem State increased an average of 9.8 percent over the past year, with the biggest price jumps in Boise and Coeur d’Alene. However, in Idaho Falls, prices dropped a little less than one percent. Still, commercial property development in Idaho Falls is on the rise, which officials believe will likely help turn around residential real estate as well.
