Jon Gosselin: Relationship with Kate has ‘Moved from Email to Text’

Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images(WERNERSVILLE, Pa.) — Former reality star Jon Gosselin says his relationship with ex-wife Kate Gosselin is now “civil.”
Gosselin opened up to People magazine about how he maintains communication with the mother of his eight children.
“We text. It’s moved from email to text,” Gosselin said, according to People magazine. “We don’t communicate that well, so it’s better with text to leave emotion out of it. Really, all we’re dealing with is just transportation and logistics.”
Four years after the end of reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, the kids are growing up. Twins Mady and Cara are 12-years-old; sextuplets Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, Leah and Aaden are 9-years-old.
And four years after his divorce, Gosselin is now living in a small cabin about 30 minutes away from his ex-wife.
According to People magazine, Gosselin sees his kids once during the week and every other weekend.
Gosselin’s time with his children is low-key. He says they have barbeques and go to Walmart, People magazine reports.
