Kobe Bryant Says His Achilles Feels ‘Good’
(NEW YORK) -- Good news for Los Angeles Lakers fans: Kobe Bryant is beginning to feel better.
Bryant said on Monday in the Philippines that his Achilles tendon is healing quite nicely.
"My tendon feels really, really good. I was really lucky," said Bryant in a question-and-answer session video that was later posted on YouTube.
Bryant tore his Achilles on April 12 and underwent surgery the following day. He has been working with trainers every day since the surgery.
The 34-year-old Bryant has spent his entire 17-year career with the Lakers and has a career average of 25.5 points per game.
