Labrador Will Not Run for Governor

(BOISE, ID) – U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador is speaking out against rumors that he’s planning to challenge Butch Otter in next May’s gubernatorial primary. The 45-year-old two-term western Idaho Congressman told the press Wednesday afternoon that he will not run against Otter, who is seeking his third term as Idaho’s chief executive. Labrador says he still has work to do in Washington, but was mum as to whether he’d run for governor in the future.
