According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sarah Murnaghan is now able to walk with the help of a walker. She stopped receiving supplemental oxygen over the weekend.

Murnaghan received her initial transplant in June, and after the first set of lungs failed, she had a second transplant days later.

Before Sarah, adult lungs were required to be offered to all adults on the waiting list before being offered to children under the age of 12. The transplant was allowed by a federal judge, reports the Inquirer. The panel in charge of lung transplants nationally later decided that children could receive adult lungs on a case-by-case basis.
