Man Arrested for Illegal Concealed Carry

(POCATELLO, ID) – A Chubbuck man was arrested early Thursday on charges of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. 23-year-old Jeff Cardell was allegedly acting suspicious when officers made contact with him on the 300 block of East Benton a little while after midnight. Cardell, who was intoxicated at the time, handed over his firearm to officers who then learned that he was carrying illegally. He then allegedly became combative with police and had to be subdued. Cardell was also charged with resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated.
