“Health-wise, I’ve been doing pretty good, been taking it slow moving around really well,” Gordon told the Boston Globe. “As long as I get to the 100 percent point before training camp, that’s what I’m looking forward to.”

Over the past four seasons, Gordon has missed 40 games, 57 games, 26 games, and 20 games. Still just 24, Gordon hopes to emerge as one of the premier two-guards in the NBA again. Despite the missed time, Gordon has averaged 18.0 points during his career with the Los Angeles Clippers and the former New Orleans Hornets.

During the offseason, the New Orleans Pelicans have put together an impressive offseason by bringing in players who could take them back to the postseason. They acquired All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday as well as Tyreke Evans. Those two, along with Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson, and Gordon, have assembled a roster that could challenge for a postseason berth.

Gordon was the main piece the Hornets acquired in the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Clippers.
