Pocatello Police Warning About Dogs Left in Cars


(POCATELLO, ID) – Pocatello Police are advising drivers not to leave their pets in parked cars. Experts say that on an 80-degree day, the heat inside a car can soar to more than 110 degrees in less and a half hour. Police have been receiving several calls about unattended pets in recent weeks. They encourage people to write town license plate numbers, as well as a description of the car and the animal to assist police in tracking down negligent owners.
