(CLEVELAND) — The Cleveland Indians signed utility player Ryan Raburn to a two-year contract extension on Wednesday. The deal is reportedly worth $4.85 million, which includes a $3 million club option for 2016, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The 32-year-old Raburn signed a minor league deal with Cleveland this past January after spending his entire career with the Detroit Tigers.
In 66 games with the Tribe this season, Raburn is hitting .277 with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs in 184 at-bats. He has scored 30 runs with a .370 OBP.
