Jason O. Watson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie announced Friday that the team signed kicker Sebastian Janikowski to a four-year contract extension.

The deal is actually for five-years, because the Raiders took the final year remaining on Janikowski’s old contract and restructured its value.

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the complete deal is worth $19 million, with $8 million guarenteed in the first two years.

Schefter also reports Janikowski will make $5.3 million this season.

The new deal means the 35-year-old Janikowski will continue to be the highest paid kicker in the league.

Last season Janikowski connected on 31-of-34 field goal attempts, a career-best when it comes to field goal percentage.

The former first round pick has played all 13 of his NFL seasons for Oakland.
