Report: Simon Cowell Reunites with Baby Mama on Vacation

The pair, who’s expecting their first child together, reunited for the first time — one week after Silverman finalized her divorce from Cowell’s friend, Andrew Silverman, People magazine reports.
“[Simon] is very pleased that her divorce is finalized, and he is excited about spending time with Lauren,” a source told the celebrity magazine. “He wants to make sure that she and the baby are doing okay. He is getting more and more excited about the baby.”
The X Factor mogul said as much Tuesday while in London for the world premiere of a new documentary starring his group One Direction.
The 53-year-old former American Idol judge told the BBC, “I’m proud to be a dad.”
“It’s something I hadn’t thought of before, but now I know I feel good about it,” he added.
According to a People source, Silverman and Cowell have no plans to get married or even live together permanently.
A source added, “But Simon is a softy at heart, and his feelings could definitely change. No one would have ever thought that he would be this excited about a surprise baby.”
The two don’t know the gender of the baby yet.
