Tejada’s suspension marks the third-longest non-lifetime suspension the MLB has ever handed out.

The former 2002 American League MVP did not appeal the suspension and will begin to serve the suspension while on the 60-day disabled list. Tejada was placed on the DL this week with a strained calf.

Yahoo! Sports reported that Tejada’s 105 game ban was in part of him twice testing positive for Adderall and that he was leaning towards retirement.
