In his second game back and a day after being hit with a long suspension, Alex Rodriguez reached base three times and continued to hear boos from the crowd.

He was grazed on the elbow by a pitch in the third inning, and Yankees skipper Joe Girardi wasn’t too thrilled with the way the crowd responded.

“There’s something wrong with that,” he said. “I often think that it starts from the adults. And if it was their child, would they want them to be hit? Because the kids will only repeat what the adults do.”

Hiroki Kuroda (10-7) took the loss despite only giving up three runs over seven innings.

The White Sox will attempt to cap off a three-game sweep of the Yankees on Wednesday.
