Tiger Woods, in pursuit of his 15th major championship and 5th PGA title, double bogied the last hole to finish the day 1-over 71.

“I really played well today and made some nice key putts,” Woods said after the round. “The key was I left them in all the good spots, left them right where I wanted to leave them. So I had some free runs at putts, especially the par putts.”

Besides his double bogey on nine, Woods bogied the fifth before making birdie on No. 13 and No. 15.

Phil Mickelson also finished the day 1-over 71.
