Young had a very impressive outing Friday night against the Seattle Seahawks, leading the team on an 11-play, 80-yard scoring drive which he capped off with a touchdown pass.  He had two carries for 39 yards on that drive.

“I think Vince is definitely one of the players who took advantage of his opportunities tonight,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said after the game.

Young showed Friday night that he is still capable of being the type of player that made him a first-round draft pick in 2006.  The 30-year-old has thrown for 8,964 yards, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions in six NFL seasons.

Harrell was the backup last year after spending the 2010 and 2011 seasons on the practice squad.
