Standoff Ends Peacefully

 

(POCATELLO, ID) – A standoff between Pocatello police and a man ended peacefully Thursday morning. Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 400 block of Mattwood Drive at around 10 a.m., where a man and his girlfriend were arguing. Police had initially received information that the man might be armed, though it was later determined that he was not a threat. He did, however, have a warrant out for his arrest, so he was taken into custody. An investigation is ongoing.
