Taurasi Scores 28 Points As Phoenix Tops Atlanta, 82-76

Barry Gossage/NBAE via Getty Images(PHOENIX) — Diana Taurasi scored 28 points as the Phoenix Mercury (10-10) defeated the Atlanta Dream (11-6), 82-76 on Saturday night.
The Mercury led by 14 points entering the fourth quarter, but the Dream pulled within one with 1:06 left on a layup from Angel McCoughtry. Phoenix was able to secure the victory after Taurasi and DeWanna Bonner combined for five free throws.
Bonner finished the game with 23 points for Phoenix while McCoughtry led the Dream with 33 points and eight assists.
